All policies have an uninsured driver promise protecting your no claims discount and no excess to pay if you're hit by an uninsured driver. Depending on the policy, there are extras you can add on to the policy to provide more protection.

Old people need to be catered for

when you are over 90 it is hard to get insurance but without a car my quality of life and the activities and volunteering I do would all have to end saga came up trumps still expensive but was just able to afford it and have had a year of happy motoring may be a black box should be offered to lower their insurance Reviewed on: 25th September 2025
