Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

Renewing my 3yr fixed price Saga car insurance and needed to make a small change. All was handled over the phone very quickly and new documents were available within 15 minutes. Customer service lady was friendly and very efficient, a pleasure to speak with. Reviewed on: 25th September 2025

Windscreen replacement

They are only a phone call away from sorting a problem. I had a broken windscreen ,after speaking with saga the windscreen company rang me back the same day to book the car in for replacement screen. 100 0/0 percent I would recommend. Reviewed on: 25th September 2025
