Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

BEST Car Cover, true excellence when needed!

When another driver reversed into my stationary car, in which I was sat, she denied it was her fault. I was extremely grateful that I was able to speak to a human within a few moments and even if the outcome hadn’t been in my favour I could not fault their professional and with the stress of the situation kind telephone experience. Recently I had the choice to renew with Saga and I had zero hesitation in doing so. I also have my home and contents insured with Saga and should I travel, will use their travel cover too.
