As per title, SBS have been fantastic dealing with our mortgage for our new home. Due to rising rates, we were concerned that our new build wouldn’t be ready before the expiration of the offer. Reasonably good experience but it took too long!

Started in September and completed in December. This is two months too long and the whole process could have been sorted much earlier. Requesting information specific for Scotland and I live in Derbyshire...just didn't seem anyone had a handle or took responsibility for my re-mortgage. So my experience wasn't the best and cost me £1200 in additional mortgage payments made a full interest rate while this deal was sorted. Reviewed on: 13th February 2023
