Excellent, friendly, accessible

I like branches to go into to be able to speak with someone in your branches. I know the staff, staff know me, friendly staff, very helpful staff, and I like the fact it is a Scottish building society. Perhaps need a bit more interest to keep up with inflation. Reviewed on: 7th August 2024

Professional, helpful, local

Helpful, knowledgeable, competitive

Having recently become a widower it has been difficult to find societies who deal with postal and telephone facilities where I can spread my money to. Thankfully you rnumber appeared in the Money Mail with telephone number. Ever since then having opened an easy access account it's been very easy to deal with and a good investment with SBC. Professional, efficient, helpful

I was able to see a staff member almost immediately in the branch. The whole process of opening a savings account was simple, dealt with efficiently and swiftly, yet professionally. The follow-up paperwork arrived a few days later, with my passbook - big thumbs up for the latter! Staff listened to my requirements and did not try to sell me an inappropriate product.
