Mutuality, personal service

Remains a building society providing personal (not robotic) service. Reviewed on: 4th September 2024

Friendly, efficient, encouraging

I like that I recognise the helpful member of staff on the desk. I don't like that I had to send away my passbook as it is my proof of having deposited money, and I now have a new ISA but no passbook. I don't like the term 'relationship centre' please go back to referring to them as local branches or offices. Reviewed on: 4th September 2024

Friendly and efficient

I have never had any type of account with you. I decided to open one as you are situated in the town centre and easy to get to. Friendly and approachable

The Galashiels branch were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Jill, in particular, made the whole experience a pleasure, the only downside is that if more than one customer is in there, there is little confidentiality. The upgraded branch is a great success.
