Go-to provider for travel insurance for bicycle travel

This review is caveated by the fact I have never had to claim, however that aside the insurance product is excellent in that I can easily arrange cover for cycle touring/bikepacking, particularly for journeys of longer duration, and being over 50 this is something not generally understood by other insurance providers. The value is also excellent. As such Sportscover Direct has become my go-to provider for travel insurance for bicycle travel. Reviewed on: 10th October 2024

76yrs athlete...other companies unwilling to insure me!

Had a problem obtaining insurance with regular companies as I am now 76. I race in international triathlons and duathlons. No problem getting an annual insurance with Sports Direct including race cover for my events. Staff so wonderfully patient and helpful.
