Having banked with Barclays for over 30 years- The long ques in branches due to them putting one member of staff on during a lunch break(dont think they realised , that's when most working people can go to the bank). and speaking to Mr Sigh in India who I had difficulty in understanding were all getting me down. After doing my research decided to open a personal & business account with Starling. My timing wasn't good, as it was during the first lockdown, so it was a rocky start, but we got there. I have only joined sterling Bank few months ago but I have not regretted joining them I have enjoined every transaction with them and all my worries and queries about banking are delt with quickly and professionally. We’ve banked with all the big players and have to say the starling account opening process was easy as pie! The app is a breath of fresh air, all the other players seem outdated and clunky whereas Starling is slick and so 21st century! Finally a modern bank!! Reviewed on: 22nd January 2021
