App based business account

After yrs of using the big banks I was recommended to try Starling Bank. Best business bank account

It is the best business bank account in the world, the app is easy to use, they approve you in less than 24 hours, the adaptation with xero I like it a lot, in general I recommend it a lot. Reviewed on: 9th February 2019

Faultless and free

As a founder and director of a start-up online retailer I need to watch every penny. When I launched my account was with HSBC, as I've always banked with them it seemed to make sense to. But when the free banking period was coming to an end I discovered Starling, and decided wasting £5 a month on business banking when I could get it for free with Starling was a no-brainer. I use Xero for my accounts and my accountants were initially skeptical about using Starling as it didn't integrate as HSBC did, meaning more manual data entry for me. However imagine how delighted I was when Xero announced automated Starling integration a couple of months later that was even better than the HSBC integration (i.e. no need to dig out the PIN device to sync, it just happens automatically.) I have been super-impressed with everything Starling has done to date and now have a personal account with them too. If they continue to add additional services and benefits I can imagine a time in the not-to-distant future when I part company with HSBC entirely and bank solely with Starling. 10/10! So simple

Starling was the first bank I turned to when I need a business bank account after setting up my new business. It was so simple and easy, just like their personal account. Such a breath of fresh air compared to traditional banks where you have to wait days for appointments and then that appointment can take an age. I highly recommend Starling. Easily efficient and convenient

Quick, painless,fee free

It was night and day in comparison to my previous TSB Business banking - everything occurs online and works which is more than what could be said for our previous bank. I would like cheque deposit imaging to really sort out the whole flow - but they've streamlined that as much as possible in the offline approach (no paying in slip, free post address etc) Reviewed on: 9th February 2019
