Kite - Best bank for kids!

As my 12yr old son (was 11 when I opened his kite space) plays online and likes to take himself to the shops it made sense to open him his own space. It gives him responsibility and its so much easier to just be able to send money from my account to his space in seconds. Well worth the £2 per month. Reviewed on: 4th February 2022

I love Starling bank

The kite kids account took seconds to open. My 14 year old son has his own app, so can start to learn about money and be independent but I can also have transparency of his purchases too. It's also a great location tracker as his purchases 'ping' up telling me where he is!! It's quick to transfer between accounts. If I had one niggle it'd be the monthly charge - given the volume of funds running through and sitting in my business account, I'd quite like it to be complimentary BUT its worth a couple of quid, so its a small niggle and I realise there will be a cost to serve and maintain, supply bank cards etc. Well done Starling and thank you. :) Reviewed on: 4th February 2022

Simple, easy and empowering for kids

Having immediate access to check payments, top up accounts and monitor spend is brilliant. Both my kids (6 & 11) love the fact they have a card for their pocket money and has made them both think about their spending and savings. Great value for money too. Reviewed on: 4th February 2022

Great value, simple to use product

Better than any other child account I could find

Incredibly quick account to set up. The UI is great. Being able to control the where the money can be spent and how much per day can be spent is great for parents who are trying to teach their kids the value of saving and spending wisely. Reviewed on: 4th February 2022

Love it
