Great that they get their own space, with a debit card for withdrawing cash and making payments online, but all visible by me, and with good controls. They get their own app, so they can check the balance at any time. The only real drawback is the lack of functionally like direct debits, for example for paying a mobile phone bill. Perfect bank account for kids

Brilliant service and incredibly intuitive and flexible app. The kids love having their own card and being able to see their balance in the app. I can set spending limits, transfer money to their kids’ pots in seconds, and pass direct payments links to relatives. Reviewed on: 12th April 2024

Much better than high street banks

My children wanted their own debit cards but my high street banks would not open accounts for them online. The appointments offered to open the accounts were 9-3 Monday to Friday, during school hours! Opening a Starling account was easy, I initially wanted it for using abroad but the added bonus of Kite spaces has made my children really happy too. The apps are easy to use and navigate. I have also set up saving spaces for the children too. Everything about the Starling account and Kite spaces are easy and uncomplicated. Well done Starling. Reviewed on: 12th April 2024
