Great for kids and parents

Easy to use, but could use a Kite App

Easy to monitor expenditure and add money when required. Even possible to have others pay to that account. One drawback is that my child can't use an app for payment so has to carry a card. As anyone can attest, getting a teen to remember bus pass, house keys, phone AND card is a challenge! Reviewed on: 12th April 2024

Fantastic service from start to finish an easy to op...

Fantastic service from start to finish an easy to open account my daughter can spend her birthday money now when we go away anywhere and she doesn’t need to use my card. Best off it’s free no hidden chargers or monthly fees for something that the world is making everyone use. I don’t pay for my adult account so why should I for a child’s account. Thoroughly recommended

I was looking for an account for my 8 year old daughter but all the other options seemed to charge a fee that was disproportionate to the amount of pocket money that she would receive. Starling’s Kite account exactly fit the bill. Opening the account was straightforward and my daughter loves the ability to check her account online and see how much she has spent and how she is saving.
