You get instant phone notifications every time your child spends or receives money and you can set automatic top-ups. The Under 16s account is easy to set up from your Starling personal or joint account.

Starling Bank - absolutely ace!!

Recently moved across from another provider. Switch process really simple and completed flawlessly. Starling account gives great value benefits including decent interest up to £5k and the fantastic “Spaces” system allowing lots of money for specific savings opportunities. Coupled with the Kite Psace for child accounts and seperate cards for each space available it’s a really usable and great value bank. Previous provider is light years behind Starling. Only complaint is that they don’t yet offer their own savings accounts/ ISAs for any balances in excess of £5k, although they do have partner providers who offer good value accounts. Fab account for children

Very quick and easy to set up.

Very quick and easy to set up. It allows my children the independence of having a separate account and card but still under my control.
