The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Great banking experience. Simple and hassle free

A bank set up the right way

Starling appears to be more focused on their customers' needs (rather than trying to sell additional services) than any bank I have used previously. Reviewed on: 17th January 2022

The end of January and I am not flat broke!!

Primarily, I wanted an online account that would help me budget. I’ve been running spreadsheets on my bank accounts for decades and I’ve finally been able to stop! Starling does all the hard work for me, helping me manage my monthly bills and daily spending as well. For the first time since I can’t remember when, I’ve made it to the end of this notoriously long month with money in the bank. There are certainly ways to improve the app even further however and I like that I can feedback and make suggestions. Now I’m getting used to the capabilities of New Age app banking, I want to be able to do even more!! And finally, the help desk is excellent with bona fide humans, not bots! Please keep it that way! Easy to use, hassle free, online banking

I chose to open an online current account with Starling as they had got consistently great reviews on their customer service. The application process for a current account was very straightforward and I was up and running within 48 hours. The App is clear and concise and has some great features that really allow you to keep up with your spending in real time. It evens pays a bit of interest too.
