The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Simplicity itself

It's easy to set up the account initially. Easy to allocate every item of spending into a category of expenditure which you can monitor on the home page. Rounding up every time you spend, allows a savings pot to increase throughout the month. Spaces - flexible pots for savings with the ability to set targets and move funds round easily. Their best new feature is Bills - being able to allocate enough money on pay day into your Bills Space to cover the costs of your direct debits for the month. The most efficient banking service!

Use starling as a secondary account to my Barclays account. If it wasn’t for the credit benefits of having a long-term account, I would have switched to starling totally! In addition I use starling for my business banking for my small business which is great as no monthly fees mean keeping overheads low! Reviewed on: 17th January 2022
