The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Best bank and app by a country mile

Amazing

Switched to starling as was extremely unhappy with my high street bank. The application was quick and easy, did not have to queue up or send anything in. Since then the customer service has been outstanding. Added bonus is the ability to open a Euro account. Euro account and UK account are in one too, so no need to take several cards when abroad. Moving on to the phone/tablet app, it is easy to use and amazing features. Like the "pay nearby" feature when transferring money to another starling customer. Amazing keep going starling. Straightforward and convenient

Starling makes it to manage my money and instant real time updates on spending are extremely useful. Would never go back to a ‘conventional’ bank as there’s not really a need to. Easy to open a new account from home

I have been an HSBC bank customer for over 40 years and tried to open a second joint account. After trying to call and chat, waiting for ages, they were unable to help me and no-one really seemed interested. So I heard about Starling Bank and opened an account within a couple of hours, and all from home. So far, I am loving the banking experience with Starling. Reviewed on: 30th March 2021

Brilliant app and great customer service

Top bank

Modern, up to date banking, perfect for a Deaf person like me!

Since I've joined Starling, I have been impressed from the start. Everything I want to do, I can do within the App. I am Deaf & whenever I have had things to do in the past, with previous banking companies, I needed to ring them up. This causes me huge anxiety. So being able to do things through the App without talking to someone, is a massive boost to me when it comes to dealing with my finances. Also by using the Spaces feature, I have managed to save £3,500. I also love how you see what you are spending your money on. This helps me to cut back on certain things, like takeaways. Best Current Account

With the easy to use spending categories i can manage my monthly spend much better - and easily refer back to previous months to see the change in cost of utilities, etc. Very intuitive and much better than the clunky traditional banking apps. Reviewed on: 30th March 2021
