The best online bank

Online winner

I opened a Starling Bank current account to benefit from lower-cost foreign transactions than my existing provider. I have been blown away by the efficiency and ease of use of the app. Simple, straightforward and a model of how other banks should work but don't. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

it's very easy to apply for an account and to use the app

I think my Starling current account is great. Since I travel abroad a lot (in non-covid times) I particularly welcome the free currency withdrawals in foreign parts. The app is very user friendly and it's really easy to keep track of your spending. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

The only bank for me

When I first moved to UK I couldn’t open an account in any of the “high street banks” because they wanted proof of address and nobody took government papers as that. Then I was told about online banks, I found Starling and never looked back. I’ve even gotten my fiancé and his brother to use it.
