it's very easy to apply for an account and to use the app

I think my Starling current account is great. Since I travel abroad a lot (in non-covid times) I particularly welcome the free currency withdrawals in foreign parts. The app is very user friendly and it's really easy to keep track of your spending. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

The only bank for me

When I first moved to UK I couldn’t open an account in any of the “high street banks” because they wanted proof of address and nobody took government papers as that. Then I was told about online banks, I found Starling and never looked back. I’ve even gotten my fiancé and his brother to use it. Extremely simple and easy app

I love this bank. There app is so easy to use, no matter what you do. It's got some great features, like spaces to save money and automatically puts away spare change from transactions. The bank has some great features to protect people as well, such as blocking gambling transactions, ATM withdrawals and even disabling your card if you've lost it. The support from the bank itself is really good too, it's simple to contact them through the app and they always respond relatively quick or if you can't wait, you can call them too. Amazing bank and more

They're already amazing, with free payments and withdrawals worldwide. Then, on top of that, they also have regular newsletters explaining different financial products, for example buy now pay later schemes, and why they can be potentially dangerous to financial health. Great current account and informative. Keeps one apprised of account information. As an ex banker I believe this is a step forward however face to face meetings would be the icing on the cake.
