Good bank

Been with Monzo and Starling banks Starling stands out with fee free atm abroad , free cash deposit at post office, low overdraft fees and just feel better. Reviewed on: 7th February 2020

I used to recommend Starling but their recent banning of buying cryptocurrencies has turned me off

I used to love Starling but since they banned us from spending our own money on cryptocurrencies I have found another bank. My review changed from high to low. It was temporary and I think it is allowed again but the fact they did it is enough for me to leave. They disguised this as "customer protection". They say this because they believe that investing in cryptocurrencies is high risk and involves a lot of scams. This is a terrible excuse, as they are fine with people spending their money on gambling sites, betting sites, gaming sites.. but apparently, decentralised finance is a step too far for them? Hmm, I wonder why banks would ban disruptive tech that gives people complete control over their own finances. Reviewed on: 16th March 2021

Simple App. Easy visuals

The app is a breeze to use and gives excellent information. The newsletters that are sent out give the impression that the ‘Bank’ is here for the user and not for themselves - that’s quite refreshing. I believe in the security of the app and love the instant information that is sent to my phone or watch, i feel i am more in control of my money because of this. Reviewed on: 16th March 2021

Best on-line bank

This banking app is so easy and intuitive to use. It is very self explanatory on how to use the different features for both setting up and everyday use. I haven't yet got the courage up to totally give up my high street bank but even so we still use Starling for everyday purchases and savings. Reviewed on: 16th March 2021

Transparent and professional
