Two great features, and one disappointment

The 'Spaces' connected card is a great idea, with reassuring safeguards, and it has proved very useful for me to enable a trusted neighbour to do most of my grocery shopping. Just one disappointment with Starling, when I found my card was not accepted in cash machines, many shops and restaurants in New Zealand in January/February 2020. Apart from that, its fee-free spend and cash withdrawals abroad are better than what most other cards provide. Reviewed on: 25th January 2021

Best consumer bank account by miles

Starling make things easy. The app is slick, the customer service is great. Why did they not appear 10 years ago. Why anyone would want to go to a high street bank now Starling exists is a mystery. Keep doing what you are doing Reviewed on: 25th January 2021

So easy

A lovely experience with this bank. I joined in mid 2020 and bought my flat in Ireland using the € account. Everything works smoothly. I'm in the process of transferring my main £ account from Britain's biggest building society because Starling is much better. Reviewed on: 25th January 2021

Better than the rest - leaves other high street and online banks in the dark.

Great, easy to use, straightforward banking.

Great mobile app, and desktop too. Easy to see spending habits segregated into things like rent, groceries, bills etc. Able to schedule payments and change dates / edit direct debits too. Reviewed on: 25th January 2021
