Good bank

Been with Monzo and Starling banks Starling stands out with fee free atm abroad , free cash deposit at post office, low overdraft fees and just feel better. Reviewed on: 7th February 2020

Great online bank

Brilliant!

The things we love the most that have saved us money and given us flexibility in controlling our finances is to have both euro and sterling accounts, especially as we have a property in Spain. Life is so much easier, converting GBP to euros can be done when the rate is right and it's instant. Our second point benefits us as we travel a lot outside the UK so to just use our Starling card to pay for ferries and accommodation in Thailand - and without overseas charges - it is as easy as using a card in the UK. Brilliant Bank

I was useless with money management before I had starling, I love having spaces within my account to make saving even easier, without many accounts to juggle. I used to be overdrawn every month, but I haven’t been overdrawn once, since switching! Reviewed on: 26th January 2021

Two great features, and one disappointment

The 'Spaces' connected card is a great idea, with reassuring safeguards, and it has proved very useful for me to enable a trusted neighbour to do most of my grocery shopping. Just one disappointment with Starling, when I found my card was not accepted in cash machines, many shops and restaurants in New Zealand in January/February 2020. Apart from that, its fee-free spend and cash withdrawals abroad are better than what most other cards provide. Reviewed on: 25th January 2021

Best consumer bank account by miles
