Simple, yet effective

Love Starling Bank, the app is easy to use and the use of spaces is fantastic. Although purpose is to use them as saving goals I combine the use to help me budget each month, splitting my salary into spaces such as food, DDs etc. Moving money from spaces back to the main account is quick and simple. You can easily transfer money to another Starling user just by being in close proximity - another reason I convince everyone to use Starling. Customer service is quick and have preset responses which have always answered my questions within seconds. Top bank. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2021

Brilliant for Euro transactions

To complement my personal Starling Sterling current account, I also have a personal Starling Euro account. As a frequent traveller to the continent, I regularly need Euros, mainly for online / app payments, standing orders, direct debits and debit card payments. Starling offers excellent exchange rates, and charges a moderate, competitive fee for the currency exchange. Moving money between my Starling Sterling and my Starling Euro account is child's play, and instant. If I have funds in my Euro accounts, I can pay in Euros with the same debit card I use in the UK - and I can control this in the app. Goes without saying that the Starling debit card supports ApplePay, so whether I am in London or in Nice, I can pay in local currency with my AppleWatch. Starling's full FSCS protection is an additional plus point, setting it firmly apart from currency transfer firms, into a league of its own. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2021

Great experience from start , on opening & moving regular monthly banking transactions I.e. direct debits & salary etc continuing to use app! Just like a High Street Bank, BUT BETTER!

It's a bank. Just like any High Street Bank. BUT BETTER! It's simple, it's Digital, and it does all you would expect a bank to do. Is there a downside? I would say yes, in that there are certain circumstances where it is nice to sit face to face with your bank manager. But that is just a personal concern. Best Bank by Far

Easy banking

I literally could do everything banking in the app for which I would have to go into bank atleast couple of times if I had to deal with other traditional banks.
