Great bank overall

The app is fantastic, money is easy to manage and monitoring of spending is easy to see. Card controls are also extensive should anything happen. Great for abroad! Reviewed on: 9th February 2020

Best for overseas use

Love the real-time notifications. Paying other starling members nearby. Love being able to categorise money into different spaces. Unique Debit card design. Reviewed on: 8th February 2020

Solid alternative

I was concerned about using a bank with no branches but it’s been more responsive and reliable than my HSBC account so I only keep that open for old payments I’ve not moved yet but hope soon I can close it Reviewed on: 8th February 2020

Immediate notifications

So easy to view balance, transactions (categorised) transfer money so easy. Notifications on any activity on the account are sent as soon as. Very pleased and absolutely no regrets in opening this account Reviewed on: 8th February 2020

Brilliant

The whole journey so far has been brilliant Research is something I enjoy (I know that sounds sad) and Starling appeared to be the best bet. The application process was great and clearly 21st Century thinking. So far everything works as it is supposed to and both times I have had to ask a question I have had an immediate answer. I will be opening a Euro account as soon as my bonus comes through. I thought I would be the last person to go cashless but I now can’t remember the last time I went to a cash machine. Brilliant ! Best banking app and company by far...

From opening the account to using it daily to make online transfers, make payments with either my contactless card or on my phone with the virtual card - couldn’t ask for more - it’s simply the best there is and absolutely hassle free. Reviewed on: 8th February 2020
