When you're a startup bank doesn't act like a startup bank!

Perhaps a good lesson for Starling management to teach their customer service staff is to be a bit more humble when dealing with customer requests. Also, banking is a purely accounting, mathematical operation, how can money just disappear out of my account?! Yes, you read that right, Starling actually can't prove or disprove how money moves because of the disconnect between what the app actually shows and what the statement shows. Incredibly concerning! A breath of fresh air compared to old bank accounts.

Easy to set up

Great user experience, easy to use. Love the joint account feature which has avoided us going overdrawn which used to happen regularly (without warning) with our previous current account, therefore no high overdraft fees. I can see where every penny is going and save more effectively - all at a touch of a button. Reviewed on: 5th February 2020

Easy banking without any drama

It just works!

All the functionality of a normal bank account with none of the down side. If you need to pay cash in you can go to the post office (who needs to do that now very few!) Everything else can be done on chat. Anne Boden hit the nail on the head here no complaints. Just do it, I'm typing this whilst using my lunch break waiting in a high street bank trying to close one of my old current accounts...it all seems so antique when with Starling I can do it all on the app!
