After trying many different banks globally I’ve found Starling Bank. Modern banking

Opened an account purely to use while I was away for the 0% fee for foreign ATMs - found the customer services and the app itself so easy to use, with features denied by my old bank, that I've now switched and not looked back. Friendly Internet bank

Best real life FX rates for spending money abroad.

Others give limited ATM whitdrawals and charge weekend fees. Starling gives generous £200 a day ATM and charges no fees on the weekends. This makes it the best in REAL LIFE. Others may offer fractionally better rates but with many traps. Reviewed on: 28th January 2020
