I am with one of UK's reputed bank already, but managing the account online is not so easy. Referred to Starling by one of my friend, easy setup, easy to use, app based, no blockage of cards hurdle, excellent app, instant notifications, monthly summary report awesome. Excellent for overseas spending

Simple to use. Accepted widely. An improvement might be to allow online transaction authorisation via email or smartphone app as receiving a text message, when abroad, can be problematic. Reviewed on: 24th January 2020

Goals and Visibility of Spending

Recently joined Starling Bank from HSBC and the visibility of your spending is brilliant. The goals option is great and rather than having to setup a new account it remains as part of your balance, amazing. Another thing for me is that being semi rural there is a distinct lack of banks in our local town so Starling being online only is great as well, with the option to deposit at Post offices which is 2 miles away.
