Great app and dual currency

Starling is what all other banks should aim to be like

Sign up was easy especially as I had just moved to the UK. The simple layout of the app gives me all the information I need at a quick glance and the details, including statement for all time periods, are easily accessible when needed. It's super easy to use and the wait for an online chat for assistance is super quick. Sometimes the security features are a bit too secure and can catch you out at the till but a couple of quick changes in the settings sorts most problems out. Reviewed on: 3rd January 2020

Starling Win !

Great features and support

Great reliable bank

Very Transparent Banking with Good Innovations

Since I have started using my Starling account I have been impressed how transparent both notifications on my smartphone (for spending and incoming amounts) and next working day "look ahead" is; I had the former with another account provider but the Starling system just seems a lot better and easier to use. Similarly the ability to split a bill and "IOU" others is a complete game changer especially when dining out or similar. This and their approach to overdrafts and how Spaces (designated amounts that are "set aside") work with the overdraft are great innovations that I did not realise I wanted until I started using the Starling current account. I am currently considering switching my business banking to Starling simply due to the strong performance of their personal account as well as a Euro account as my partner and I take most of our holidays in Europe.
