How banking should be.

Starling, making bank cool, functional, straightforward and slick. Got tired of the hassle of the standard banks, with rubbish apps and even worse online experience. Starling has none of it, it's great, easy to use, great for budgeting and saving. Good money spend catorgrising, and up to date balance. The big banks could learn alot! Leaving traditional banks for dead...

The whole experience has been brilliant - from quick and painless activation, to setting up Spaces and arranging transfer of funds between Spaces & the main account. The future of banking

Signing up to Starling was far easier than to a traditional bank. The banking app, the virtual version of a bank branch, has every feature you need and there is little compromise from the traditional sort. My favourite features of the app are the ‘spent today’ section and sorting expenses by merchant or type, and I really like how there is no surcharge to its use abroad. Reviewed on: 8th February 2019

Wish all banks were this simple and effective

Though my current account was only opened on a whim, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. By far the best functioning app and customer service. Very responsive. Fortunately I’m a high net worth account holder with my main bank so I haven’t fully transitioned just yet. But I will be moving my 2 other current accounts to starling permanently. Simply Straightforward Starling

I'm not particularly up-to-date with technology, but opening a new starling account using only my mobile phone was plain sailing. Once your account is open the app information is clear, relevant straighforward and uncomplicated to use. I especially like the simplicity of monthly 'spending' and income page, plus the ability to set and personalise categories on your transactions. I have used the Starling Mastercard abroad and unlike any other bank they do not charge for using your card or withdrawals from a cash machine. They pay interest on current accounts and notify you immediately of any transactions made. Reviewed on: 8th February 2019
