Banking for 2019

Skeptic turned fan

Wasn't sure about moving away from my typical high street bank, but had been unsatisfied for a long time with bad customer service, long hold times, high fees and much more. Best account for expats

I initially chose Starling because they offer a debit card with Mastercard exchange rate. That means I can use my GBP when I'm in EU without needing to transfer money to a EU bank account and still pay very low exchange rate. They are now going to add an EU account which is going to make my life even simpler and I won't need a EU account (normally come with a fee) anymore.
