I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Debt management help

Last year I was depressed and anxious due to spiralling interest on my credit cards and couldn't seem to get them down. But now after getting the advice and help from Stepchange I can see my balances coming down and I have more money to buy food and clothing. I feel so much better in myself. Life-changing and brilliant ethos

I'm an doctoral-level educated, broadly experienced and competent life manager but still walked out of a divorce in a financial mess. Stepchange helped me re-orient and establish a meaningful strategy and helped me make progress on paying down my debts.
