I wish I had contacted Stepchange sooner

Really didn’t know what to do, lots of credit card debt. Spoke to Stepchange and there is no judgement just lots of help and advice. Given options. You are encouraged to take everything into account, even things that you perhaps don’t think of, but they do. You get regular statements so you know how you’re progressing. I find they are available by phone to speak to someone, an actual person, if I have a query. I’m now managing both my money and my life with so much less stress. I honestly wish I had taken this step sooner but I didn’t. Reviewed on: 25th May 2025

I have been with StepChange Debt Management for a few years now - since I lost my job during the Corona Virus. My management was guided by specialist helpers, who were special to me - wonderful people, those who guided me throughout the process. I am indebted to those who helped me on the way. Excellent company

I was embarrassed to be phoning step change but due to change in circumstances, I had no choice. I was made to feel so at ease and wasn't judged at all , each time I've phoned I've had a lovely friendly person at the end of my call, I m nearly clear now , took ten years but I've struggled though it with excellent help and advice Reviewed on: 25th May 2025
