With nowhere or nobody to turn to after spiralling out of control with debt, a friend mentioned Stepchange, within the first contact with Stepchange, I had a completely different outlook on life (which was pretty grim at the time). Professional, friendly and helpful staff, who showed understanding and care when initially dealing with my enquiries. Having a Step Change DMP has given me my life back. A huge weight was lifted from my family and the stress, anxiety suicidal feelings caused by being in debt have now gone. I wish I turned to them earlier, as I’m now nearly debt free and have some savings. My future is looking bright thanks to Step Change and I’ve already recommended them to several people. Last year I thought there was no way out of debt for me. I’m a single parent and the debt just built up over the years. Then someone told me about StepChange and they have changed my life. Very helpful in sorting out my debt
