Life changing

Never having enough to pay bills ,constantly dreading check outs at supermarkets. Now my debts are coming down, mental health improved, able to budget with enough money to cover everything. Literally changed my life

I had never been in debt before but then after having my first child I found myself in debt that kept mounting up trying to pay nursery fees while working part time. For a long time I buried my head in the sand hoping the problem would go away. Eventually when it hit me how much the debt was affecting me I phoned stepchange and from that one phonecall my life changed so much. I was instantly happier knowing that there was someone who understood and was willing to help me. A clear cut plan was made to start paying off my debts with an affordable monthly payment split between the creditors. I would 100% recommend stepchange to anybody who has money problems and encourage people not to Bury there head in the sand as it will not go away but there are people willing to help and they won't judge at all. Fantastic Debt Charity

I was at my wits end with debt 18 months ago and then I found StepChange when looking for help with mt debts online. They were very approachable, easy to deal with and once I had given them my budget and listed all of my debts they quickly contacted all of my creditors and offered them a percentage of what I could afford. All of my creditors agreed, and it lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders. I could stop worrying about my debt and even managed to increase my payments a bit this year. Changed my life

Due to mental health issues I found myself no longer being able to work. I had a lot of debt to repay and found it very hard to get help. Stepchange was recommended to me by my bank. Every time I have dealt with Stepchange they have been so incredibly helpful and professional.
