Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Literal Life Savers

A few small decisions can hugely impact your life. I learnt this the hard way. Then when I most needed it, Step Change came in and rescued me. They consolidated my poor decisions and worked with me to not only pay off what I owe, but they are also educators. I now know how not to repeat history. I was becoming ill with stress an worry

I was becoming ill woth stress and worry about calls and letters.. once i started to work with stepchange i began to be able to sleep again in the knowledge my debts would be paid off in time. Id honestly recommend to anyone, they dont take a penny and they will help if your circumstances change. Honestly the best decision ive made debt wise! Reviewed on: 4th September 2021
