Life changing

One day everything is okay then the next

Was really scared to pick up the phone and contact step changes, i thought they was going to judge about my situation and not even try to help. Cut the long story short i was thinking of taking my own life for less than 8k. I was worried about what would happen if bailiffs came to my address and what my family would think. But it was nothing what i seemed they was more than helpful understood my situation tried working out the best solution for myself in the best affordable way. I would like to say if anyone is suffering from debts big or small please do get in touch with step changes. Don't let the outcome become worser than it already is seek help before it is too late. Amazing

I was left in A lot of debt and I was scared. A friend recommended Step change the relief I felt after talking to them knowing I could do this it would just take A little bit of time. Helped me at my lowest point

I had to leave my job of 30 years, to care for my daughter and her baby, after my daughter had a stroke. I then had to go onto UC!!!. which was an experience in itself. I was in despair over my financial situation and Stepchange supported me through this. All staff I have spoken to were amazing and must have been chosen for their amazing people skills., they were always calm and listened whilst I cried, I never felt hurried and they made me feel that there was light at the end of the tunnel .
