We were astonished to find in 2015 that we had overcommitted on credit to a tune of 61,000 pounds.Various organisations had thrown money at us sometimes increasing our credit limits without us asking for it.We took full advantage of them.In February that year we determined to deal with this situation but had no idea how.Reluctantly we contacted Stepchange as pride had stopped me doing it before.With their help,support,guidance etc,since then we have reduced our debts to a figure of under 21,400 and are on course to be debt free in August 2024.We could not have done it without them.My advice to anyone in a similar position is do not hesitate,as i did,and consult with them at the earliest opportunity,you will not be disappointed with the outcome.Thankyou Stepchange. Steps to stress free

We were extremely worried and stressed about our financial situation which was effecting our health and wellbeing’s. Our bank was unable to help us and recommend us to Steps change debt charity. From our first call to them we felt there was someone who understood our problems and were not judgemental , what a relief, Such wonderful advisors took us step by step through the whole procedure, we called them when ever we were unsure , and each time we phoned they were wonderful.This is a Charity who deliver and deserve to be recognised for there ongoing and good work. Ever since I first spoke to step change they made me feel a lot calmer and at ease about my debts. I didn’t know what my life would turn out like with being scared of my finances, now I am in a debt management plan it has helped my mental health and finances a lot and I am forever grateful for the the guidance and support from the team.
