I can finally sleep!

After falling into debt through being a single parent of an autistic child, although I work full-time there is never enough to make ends meet and I got into the cycle of living off credit credits and continually consolidating. At one point I was working 40 hours a month overtime just to keep up and reached breaking point. Step Change helped me take control and sleep again not to mention spend quality time with my child. Everything was explained so clearly and it was easy to set up my DMP. They have been at the end of the phone or email for every wobble and query I have had. Step Change are amazing! Changed my life for the better!

Before I contacted Stepchange I was downing in debt, borrowing from pay day loan companies, overdrawn, borrowing Money from friends, etc. I used to think that you could only get help for unsecured loans and had lost hope. I was then advised to call Stepchange, I did, they did not judged me, only offered support. Now I have managed to pay my DMP early and I am debt free... but most importantly I feel like I have learn to manage my finances much better. Thank you StepChange, you have literally saved my life...
