Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

StepChange helped me turn my life around

StepChange helped me turn my life around, I found myself in debt for a few personal reasons and didn't know where to turn, my mental health was at a critical point, one of my more helpful debtors pointed me towards help and this is when I found StepChange. They helped me with debtors who were harassing me and how to budget and set up an affordable payment plan. Would recommend absolutely

StepChange really helped me get in control of my credit card and loan debt. I had become ill and had to stop working and just making minimum payments was become difficult. They helped me just in time. Lovely people to deal with and talk you through things and options.
