When I first realised I was in financial difficulty...

When I first realised I was in financial difficulty I looked for help and found Step Change. I can say how much they have changed my life .They took on board my circumstances and put a payment plan in force for me . I had huge credit card debts and I wanted to retire. This payment plan has secured my retirement and I will be debt free by Feb 26 . They dealt with my credit card companies and are there at the end of the phone or email. I wouldn't be where i am today if I hadn't taken a deep breath and called them . They didn't shame me unlike some of my card companies. I recommend them to anyone who has financial difficulties. Life changing

Stepchange has truly turned my life around, i was in a good job, earning a good wage and seeing zero benefits from interest on credit cards, i couldnt manage, i couldnt keep up and i was spiralling into severe depression, i would highly recommend stepchange for anyone struggling and feeling like there are rock bottom, this charity offers lots of flexible payments which means you’re not breaking the bank to pay your debts and can still live an enjoyable life with no worries! 10/10 Reviewed on: 24th May 2025
