Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

One of the best things I ever did!!!

One of the best things I ever did was getting in contact with this company. They helped me organise my mountain of debt and allowed me to be able to put it into a small manageable sized payment. They even allowed me to contact the companies and get the interest rate to freezing and helped me get out of the debt that I was in. Help me with my mental health as well
