Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Step change are the best

I was in debt quite a bit with payday loans and my wages couldn’t cover the pay back amounts. So in the end I went to step change and explained my situation and they were so helpful, sent a form out to fill which was easy to fill out. They got in touch with the payday loan companies and agreed with them different rates to pay back which they all are now. Any time I’ve had to call them they have been so helpful and polite and friendly. I would totally recommend them to anyone who has debt problems. Definitely the best debt change company out there.
