It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Id throughly recommend working with stepchange. It helped us to budget and realise that we did have the spare money to pay off debts if we tweaked a few things which in turn meant feeling less guilty about spending money. They also helped us communicate with our debtors to get their help too. We did have a slight issue in that we had some extra money which we wanted to use to pay our debts which stepchange told us to write letters to our debtors but this ended up causing confusion and we would have been better off to just pay it off but I suppose it was an unusual circumstance. All in all though most communications I have with stepchange were.pleasant and they never made you feel like a bad person for having got in to debt and there was a way forward. Thank you stepchange! Step change made the difference

I was in complete despair about my my debt. Step change made the difference. The advisors are brilliant and talked me through the options to reduce my debt. I now have a Debt Management Plan which is easy to keep track of online. If I have any worries or questions, I just call the advisors and they are always really helpful.
