Glad we made the right decision to use StepChange

We have used StepChange's service for a few years now and have always found them to be very helpful. Whenever we have to update our budget and we're not sure about something there is always someone there to help to explain everything and put your mind at rest. Life changing, lifted a lot of stress

I was directed to StepChange by a wellbeing team at work, the only regret I have is that I wish I'd have known about them sooner. They've been incredibly helpful, friendly and non judgemental. I don't know what I've have done without them. I've managed to reduce my debt being nearly £8k in 18 months and managed to reduce my spending and budget. Wouldn't recommend

The customer service team I find to be very slow in responding, and I have sometimes had to send the same information a few times as they have clearly not read the emails properly that I sent to them. I can never get through on the phone as it says my reference number is wrong, even though I am using the reference number they gave me. They have said they haven't received payments when it clearly shows the money from my bank account sent to them. Overall I wouldn't recommend them unfortunately. Reviewed on: 9th May 2026

Simple and Hassle Free
