Excellent and caring service

They helped me at a time when I was ill and highly stressed and sorted everything out for me. It didn’t take long to work out a debt management plan that I could afford to pay. Everyone I spoke to was very kind and encouraging. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Good communication, empathic and supportive staff. Made the whole process much easier and I felt like a tonne of weight had been lifted off my shoulders after my initial phone call with Step Change. Don't struggle contact stepchance

Our problem started when interest rates went up. Our monthly money was all going on paying mortgage and bills. We hit rock bottom and thought we was going to have to sell our house or be evicted. Feeling very embarrassed we called step change and spoke to a very nice man who after getting emotional told us they were there to help. The process was easy and after giving them all our monthly outgoings and income , gave us three options to clear our debt. We chose the one most suited to us. Step change contacted all of the necessary people for us and worked out how much we would pay to them. Experience was informative and easy.
