Don't be afraid to call Stepchange for advice

I couldn't see a way out of my debt situation. Once I had the courage to call Stepchange they assured me I wasn't alone and offered me excellent advice on the options available to me to move forward. I was absolutely desperate when I went to StepChange...

I was absolutely desperate when I went to StepChange for help. Following my husband's death, I could no longer manages debts that we had in my name only, and I thought I was going to lose my home. They helped me to work out a realistic budget, which meant I did not have to go without and could cover all household bills, food shopping, etc, before making payment to my creditors. From suicidal to having hope

When I first contacted StepChange I was feeling suicidal. I couldn’t see a way out of my situation. They turned it around completely. The people I spoke with were so helpful and supportive and totally non-judgmental. They then provided a solution go my problem which meant I could begin to pay my debt and breathe more easily.
