It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Changed my life

I had been struggling with debt for a long time and felt completely overwhelmed before contacting StepChange. From the very beginning, they were supportive, professional and non-judgemental, which made it much easier to open up about my situation. They took the time to fully understand my circumstances and clearly explained all my options without any pressure. With their help, I was able to put a realistic and manageable plan in place to deal with my debts. What really stood out was how compassionate and understanding they were throughout the whole process. I never felt judged, and they were always there when I needed reassurance or guidance. Takes the weight of your shoulders.

Takes the weight of your shoulders. Stops the constant phone calls and the fear of the knock on the door. The service is amazing yoh can ring or email and once your plan is set and it’s an amount you can afford you pay them monthly and they do the rest. You will also see a rough date for when your are debt free. Yes it may be many years of but it’s within reach. if they are not able to match numbers to sort a payment plan they will offer other ways to help you become debt free. Reviewed on: 7th May 2026
