It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Debt repayment

I’ve been with Step Change for a few years, they have always given me several options to guide mr Reviewed on: 6th May 2026

Step Change reassured me there was a way out of debt.

I felt terrible fear and anxiety when i had to unexpectedly give up working to care for my husband. I had loans I expected to be able to pay off and felt guilty and almost criminal to be in a position where i could not afford to repay loans.
