StepChange helped to sort out my debt

StepChange saved my life as they helped me to sort out my financial issues. I went from total stress over bills/debts to begin calm over what I owed - this was due to StepChange. They were unjudgemental and so very helpful by sorting out with my debtors what I could afford to pay. My life feels so much better with the financial burden lifted. I pay StepChange monthly and they arrange my payments. I've a long way to go to pay everything off, but thanks to StepChange, I am able to cope and have a reasonable lifestyle. Double redundancy

Joined stepchange after being made redundant, then ha to rejoin after Covid because I was made redundant again. Always a great help - even when I applied for a job where enquiries into my finances were required. Highly recommended. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026
