StepChange Changed My Life

I came to StepChange at one of the darkest points in my life. I was 20 years old, addicted, overwhelmed by debt, in and out of psych wards, and stuck in a cycle of avoiding everything. I had taken on extreme amounts of credit card debt just to take cash out and spend a few more weeks forgetting my problems. Joining StepChange was the turning point. They helped me face the situation, set up a plan, and supported me every step of the way without judgment. They gave me the structure and clarity I needed to start turning things around. I'm now 22 and nearly done with the debt I was once drowning in. I'm clean, stable, and moving forward. StepChange wasn't just a debt solution, they were part of my recovery journey, even when they hadn't intended to be.
