I am in the final months from being debt free. At the beginning of my journey I could have lost my family and my house - a hopeless situation but with the support of Stepchange and I have thankfully maintained both. I’m back in control of my life

Step change has helped me to take control of my debt and pay it off. They contacted all my creditors and arranged payment plans with them and they agreed to stop adding interest to the debt. on the few occasions I have needed to contact step change they have been informative and compassionate. I contacted step change as i had a life changing accident and everything financially fell apart due to me being unable to work for what is now to be over 5 years . i was stressed , anxious and felt i had no control over my debts. I contacted step change who were amazing . they were so understanding and helpful and guided me through what i needed to do in order to take back control of my debts with payments to suit my budget. I cant thank them enough and 100% recommend anyone who is struggling financially to contact the wonderful people at step change to help you as they did me .
