StepChange have been wonderful.

StepChange have been wonderful. Before entering into my debt management plan I was seriously worried. However, after contacting them, and their system deciding that a DMP was best for me I pay manageable chunks each month and slowly but surely my debts have been coming down. Hopefully if I can ever rid myself of this flooring chronic fatigue I'll be able to pay back my card people much earlier, but with chronic illness I just can't work and StepChange saved the day. After years of worry.

After years of worry. We bit the bullet and contacted step change. In fact we contacted them twice as the first time we didn't continue. After back and forth for a while we decided we needed to do something about our situation and we also needed to stop the spiral of debt "consolidation," which only got us in a worse position. After many, many nights of worrying and sleepless nights, I finally contacted StepChange and it was the BEST decision I made. My mind was put at rest immediately. They took over all of my debts for me, and sorted everything out with my creditors with ease. The tremendous amount of pressure that I was under, has now gone. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Was in a bad place financially was never able to get on top of my debt just bill after bill. A family member told me about stepchange so I contacted them and within a few days had a plan set up and never looked back. After 18 months I am now debt free and thanks to stepchange that was made possible. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

I was broke.

I was broke. Left without a way of earning money or paying any bill when Covid and bereavement hit. They listened to me cry. Reassured me and helped me. No signposting as such just good quality human interaction where we identified a plan. 5 years later they’ve supported me occasionally when creditors haven’t played ball.
